What Our Courses Provide

We will provide all the necessary materials for the classes, including Chromebooks, robot kits, competition equipment, soldering tools, 3D printing equipment, etc.

Course Structure

We’ve integrated Project-Based Learning (PBL) with a stronger focus on helping students create robots that they can showcase and even use. We encourage students to take home the robots they build and program to share with their parents and friends.

Instead of a standardized curriculum, we customize the course structure based on each student’s interests and strengths.

Pricing

We’ve transitioned from only charging for teaching services to offering two payment options:

Teaching Service Fee: $299 per month (students cannot take the robot kits home).

Teaching Service Fee + Robot Kit: $399 per month (students can take the robot kits home).

Both payment options allow students to use the robot kits in competitions, with the difference being the ownership of the kits. Fees are charged by the calendar month and are no longer based on the number of sessions. For example, if a month has only three sessions, students can either make up the classes in our weekend workshops or choose robot kits of equivalent value. Additionally, there’s a 20% discount for those who opt for continuous annual billing (with automatic monthly payments), reducing the monthly cost to just $239.2 or $319.2. We also offer camps during winter and summer breaks.We will list a detailed price breakdown of what is included in the kits in our store. We offer a 10% discount to customers who choose automatic payment by credit card. We offer a 10% discount to users who refer friends/siblings to sign up together. The combined total discount from these two offers will not exceed 10%.

Competitions

Our company is gradually partnering with more schools and organizations in the Bay Area to organize robot competitions. These competitions will be structured similarly to NBA leagues, with points awarded for each event. Winning individuals or teams will receive certificates and rewards. We’ve secured sponsorships from two robotics startups and are in discussions with major tech companies for additional sponsorships. Students enrolled in the After School Program will not be charged extra to participate in the competitions.

Weekend Workshops

Previously, our weekend workshops were separate from the After School Program. Now, we encourage students with a strong passion for robotics and programming to continue attending classes on weekends to prepare for competitions. Students who have already paid for the After School Program can attend weekend classes at no extra charge(only in Oakland office). Additionally, students who missed sessions in the After School Program can make up the classes during the weekend.

Basic Electronics, Microbits, Makecode programming, Python programming, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, 3D printing, soldering projects, robot project design, computer vision for kids, machine learning for kids, etc.

Robot PBL Projects

Panda robot, robot car, music bot, hockey bot, maze bot, brush bot, robot arm, etc.

Location

In Berkeley area, we have two locations in the fall semester, Tuesday is in Sticky Art Lab, and Thursday is in Su Yun's Chinese learning center in Albany.

Weekend class location: 8000 Edgewater Dr Suite#200, Oakland.

Return and Refund Policy

For the class, class registration may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the first day of the start of class for a full refund. Cancellations made up to 14 days prior are eligible for a 50% refund. For the robot kits, We will do everything to make sure you have a flawless experience. 100% will be refunded if the kit has not been dispatched, or is returned without being opened. All other sales are final.
